Wyoming staffs home daycare from a scenario table in chapter 11 of the DFS rules. One staff member may have four infants, five one-year-olds, eight mixed-age children with no more than two infants and two one-year-olds, or ten mixed-age children with no more than two under two. For groups of two-year-olds and older, the youngest child sets the ratio: one to eight when the youngest is two, one to twelve when the youngest is three or four, one to eighteen when the youngest is five, capped by the license at ten in a family home and fifteen in a family center. Two staff may have eight infants, ten one-year-olds, or fifteen mixed with no more than four infants, four one-year-olds and four two-year-olds. Four or more infants present requires two staff at all times.
